Obituary of Timothy Marc Roberts
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Timothy Marc Roberts, known to all as Tim, on March 6, 2026. Born on February 25, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana, Tim dedicated his life to his family, friends, and community, embodying the virtues of loyalty, humility, and an infectious sense of humor. His dedication to his loved ones, coupled with a larger-than-life personality, made him a beacon of warmth and laughter in every room he graced.
Tim was a pillar of the Indianapolis community, both professionally and personally. His career in sales marketing was matched only by his dedication to his work in the St. Michael Booster Club, CYO, Ben Davis Little League, and Bishop Chatard high school football. Tim was a devoted coach, tirelessly transforming young lives through sports and his unique blend of humor and dedication. His coaching prowess earned him multiple awards, including the prestigious Monsignor Busald Award in 2014 and the Ben Davis Little League Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016. Tim’s efforts extended beyond the field, as he successfully organized fundraisers and golf events for scholarships to Catholic schools and the Westside Deanery Dad’s Day. His desire to make life fun for his family and his community was evident in his relentless pursuit of planning community parties and events.
Tim was a devoted Chicago Bears fan his entire life, faithfully cheering them through every glorious victory and heartbreaking loss.
Tim's love for his family was unparalleled. He is survived by his mother, Marie Roberts, his wife, Cara, their children; Marc, Adrienne (Michael), Jack, and Joe, and their grandchildren; Ella, Baker, Georgia, Archer, and Chloe. He is also survived by his brother Steven (Lynn) Roberts, sister Annette (Drew) Dorman, Father and Mother-in-law Jack and Linda Imel, Brother-in-law Kevin (Tammi) Imel, and loved by all his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Roberts.
We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos of Tim on the memorial page. Your stories and pictures will serve as a reminder of Tim's remarkable life, his dedication to his community, and his unending love for his family and friends.
