Obituary of Olga Hernandez
Con gran pesar y entrañables recuerdos, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Olga Estela Hernandez, querida esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela. Olga, un pilar de fortaleza y la personificación del amor incondicional, nos dejó el 10 de enero de 2026, dejando un legado que permanecerá para siempre en nuestros corazones. Nacida en El Salvador, La Union, Isla Zacatillo Caserio Elcaguano en 1971, la vida de Olga fue un testimonio de la frase: «No todos podemos lograr grandes cosas. Pero sí podemos hacer pequeñas cosas con gran amor».
Olga fue un faro de amor y fe; su vida era un hermoso tapiz tejido con hilos de risa, bondad y compasión. Su hogar en Indianápolis, Indiana, era un santuario de calidez y alegría, donde equilibraba con elegancia sus roles de ama de casa y cristiana fiel. Era el corazón de su familia; su amor por su esposo, José Mata, sus seis hijos, trece nietos y bisnieta era profundo e inquebrantable. Olga era una mujer divertida, cariñosa, atenta y comprensiva, cuya radiante sonrisa podía iluminar hasta la habitación más oscura. Su amor era una luz constante e inquebrantable que guiaba a su familia a través de las tormentas de la vida.
El espíritu de Olga sigue vivo en su amado esposo, José Mata, y sus hijos: Henry Hernández, Diana Hernández, Catherine Hernández, Kevin Mata, Olga Mata y Danny Mata, quienes tuvieron la bendición de compartir su camino en la vida. Sus padres, José Manzano y Blanca Hernández, la recibieron en el cielo con los brazos abiertos. Todos quienes la conocieron la recordarán con cariño y la extrañarán profundamente. Se celebrará un servicio en memoria de Olga en la funeraria Stevens, ubicada en 5520 West 10th Street, Indianápolis, Indiana, 46224, del sábado 24 de enero de 2026 a las 3pm hasta domingo 25 de enero de 2026 a las 4am (hora del este).

It is with heavy hearts and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Olga Estela Hernandez, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Olga, a pillar of strength and the embodiment of unconditional love, left us on January 10, 2026, leaving behind a legacy that will forever remain in our hearts. Born in El Salvador on the year of 1971, Olga's life was a testament to the words of "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
Olga was a beacon of love and faith, her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of laughter, kindness, and compassion. Her home in Indianapolis, Indiana, was a sanctuary of warmth and joy, where she elegantly balanced her roles as a homemaker and a faithful Christian. She was the heart of her family, her love for her husband, Jose Mata, her six children, thirteen grandchildren, and great-granddaughter was profound and unwavering. Olga was a funny, loving, thoughtful, and supportive woman whose radiant smile could light up even the darkest room. Her love was a constant, unfaltering light that guided her family through life's storms.
Olga's spirit lives on in her beloved husband, Jose Mata, and her children: Henry Hernandez, Diana Hernandez, Catherine Hernandez, Kevin Mata, Olga Mata, and Danny Mata who were blessed to share in her life's journey. Her parents, Jose Manzano and Blanca Hernandez, welcomed her home in heaven with open arms. She will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by all who knew her. A service to celebrate Olga's life will be held at Stevens Mortuary, located at 5520 West 10th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46224 on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m - Sunday, January 25, 2026 4:00am EST.
