Obituary

Ronette Jeanine Strauss born Dec 9th 1975 went home to be with Jesus on Oct 6th 2025.

She was a mother, sister, daughter and friend. She was strong willed, courageous, quick-witted with a soul so bright she lit up every room she walked in to. A laugh so contagious you couldn't help to laugh too.

She will always be remembered for goofing off and singing to the rooftops her favorite song without a care in the world. She was the type of woman to tell you the truth even when you didn't want to hear it, but needed to anyway! That's just how she was…..bold, genuine and honest.

Ronette was saved by Grace, loved God and was a member of Salem Missionary Baptist church in Bargersville IN.

Ronette loved her family, music, animals and talking politics to anyone that would lovingly engage with her.

She was a homebody and loved curling up with her Kitty (Nahla) reading and watching her favorite videos.

Ronette was preceded in death by Father Ronald Stott, Mother Gladys (Jenkins) Stott, Brother Mike Stott, Nephew Josh Hooten Sr, Grandparents Wiseman and Ora Jenkins and Henry and Pearl Stott.

Survivors include Daughter Stepanie Strauss, Son Andre' Clark, Daughter Mary Clark, Sister Carol (Mike) Hooten and Great Nephews Josh Jr, Braydon and Colton Hooten, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to a Breast Cancer Research organization of your choice.

My deapest condolences Aunt Carol. Im so sorry! I remember when we were kids, my Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Bill took us to Indiana for the summer and I spent a week with Ronette. We had so much fun staying up until the sunrise, waiting for Ganny's apple pies. She showed me how to make a fie fly glow by scraping it across the ground. I will never forget. May God bless her soul. Until we meet again. In Jesus name Amen.

I remember taking her to see the monkeys she was so excited. We had nachos for dinner and she could not believe you could have nachos for dinner. She was very funny. She will be missed.
