On behalf of Faith Lutheran Church, Avon, we all extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to all of you. Carolyn, and your family, were a big part of the history of our church and we thank God for her and all of you.

This breaks my heart. She taught me algebra and trigonometry, and she taught me how to teach it to others. I learned how to love math because of her.

The Board and staff members of Kappa Delta Pi express our deepest condolences to our colleague, Karen, and to all beloved family and friends of Carolyn.

I will always remember our trip to the Canadian Rockies, our suppers at Applebees, and going to Chicago for a Tina Turner concert. There were lots of good memories besides teaching next to Carolyn for years. She will be missed. My heart is with you all.
