Obituary of Louis T Hobson

Louis T. Hobson, 69, passed away on Sunday, July 6, 2025, doing what he loved most—running. He retired from Marsh Supermarkets after 40 years in management and later worked part-time at Menards, where he enjoyed staying active and connecting with others.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Louis is survived by his wife of 48 years, Tena Hobson; daughters Kristina (Todd) Armstrong and Kelly (Corey) Hale Baldwin; six grandchildren; sister Kimberly (Danny) Wilson; brother Robert Hobson; and special family Noe, Irma, and Fernanda Cobian. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Wanda Hobson, and his brother Brian Hobson.

Louis had a passion for running marathons and 5Ks, especially alongside his daughters. He loved camping trips, beach vacations, and relaxing by the pool with his family—his happiest moments were those spent with his wife and grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 14 from 1–3 PM at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W. 10th St., Indianapolis, IN, with services beginning at 3 PM.
