Funeral Mass
Condolences
I was so sorry to hear that Paul passed. I had the pleasure of coaching him in CYO softball where he excelled as a player but moreover as a great teammate, gentleman and sportsman. RIP my friend.

My prayers to the Loviscek family, and his son Jake, on the loss of your brother, and father, Paul. I was classmates with him since second grade at St. Michael's and through Cardinal Ritter. I was a "front row" witness of his outstanding kicking talents and skills during that glorious 1977 football season and championship when I was a cheerleader that senior year.We were all the better having known him. Rest in Peace.
It was such an honor and privilege getting to know Paul. He was always up to hear about my daughter's travel softball adventures and to share about his children and grandchildren. My thoughts and prayers are with your family through this difficult time.

Paul Loviscek (AKA-Bunyan) was my roommate with Ted F. (Thad) at St Joseph's College. I was sadden to hear of his passing. We share some great times together- bowling alley, wagon masters, football games (ND), room parties and overall day to day activities in college life. In reflecting on college life one thing stands out about Bunyan - Intramural sports. He was a legend! - Football - kick field goals where every we were on the field. Softball - He was our pitcher and man could Bunyan throw. I think we didn't need infielders or outfielders. Thank God he was on our team.
What I remember most about Bunyan was a great friend and one of the best roommates your could ever ask for. I'm blessed that I was able to be his roommate. Sometime words don't do justice in describing a man like Bunyan! To Family of Paul Loviscak my condolences. Paul (Bunyan) but with the grace God we will see each other again!
My thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with all of entire Loviscek family. Paul and I grew up together in the same neighborhood and attended the same grade school and high school. We were classmates, teammates, and good friends. The memories of our friendship is blessing.
Our sympathies are with you, Jake, and the family! We lost a good, kind, and faith-filled man. Thanks, Paul, for all those great high school memories and beyond! That amazing and fun 1977 Championship season would not have been possible without you!!! Your love and competitive spirit will live on especially in Jake, and in all who knew you…a true Champion! Rest In Peace!
During my college years at St. Joe’s, I don’t think I ever called Paul anything but “Bunyan.” The first time I saw him on campus he was walking from Gallagher in his overalls and had a genuine smile. I asked who he was and was told “that’s Bunyan.” My husband, Boomer, and Ted (or Thad) Frankowski were his roommates, and together we shared so many unforgettable memories. There was such joy in knowing Bunyan—partying together, laughing, and just being carefree college kids.
We were lucky enough to visit Bunyan in 2017, and it felt as if no time had passed at all—the years simply melted away. I’m especially grateful for the texts we exchanged over the years. I’ll always cherish those messages, just as I’ll always treasure the time we shared. He was truly one of a kind.
My heart goes out to his family. Rest in peace our Bunyan!

“My Paul” as I used to call him. He is someone that once in your life you will never forget and always appreciate. We worked together for many years and he was always a man to be respected. God bless him. Jacob you had a great father, I know you know. Denise The Royal PIA
Ahhhh, my old friend “Bunny” as the gals from First West ( St. Joe’s) lovingly called him. He was legendary, and a heart of gold. I must say I had some of my favorite times at St. Joe’s with Bunny, Boomer and Ted. We had a group that melded so perfectly together and just enjoyed our time together. So many, many fantastic memories and I could not pick a favorite, they all rank up there. He was sweet, kind and generous, but he had a twinge of ( fun) wicked in him too. I think I laughed harder in his company than most anyone else. I am certain he will be missed by family, friends and students alike. He was such a GOOD man and that is rare these days. Though I haven’t seen you in years, I can still picture you sitting in your chair behind the bar, with one foot on the chair rail and the other on the lower bar shelf just smiling at the fun and happiness you brought together in your life. You were one in a million Bunny! I will say prayers for you and your son and family. God Bless I hope you are at peace… and THANK YOU for all the joy you shared with so many others around you. Loved that laugh that was contagious and the smile that lit up your face. You really were the GOAT !
Paul Loviscek. The first person I ever met whom "The Man, The Myth, The Legend" ever applied to in life.
Paul (lovingly referred to as "Bunyan" at St. Joe) was my friend, my ally, my brother and my roommate in college.
So many memories from those years and every one of them has his smile, his laugh and his shared fear of Dr. Groppe! I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you! I love you!
