Obituary of Toby Gearries - Page
In Loving Memory of Toby Gearries-Page
March 12, 1950 – May 18, 2025
Toby Gearries-Page, age 75, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2025. Born on March 12, 1950, to Arlene Ann Caron and Phillip Henry Caron, Toby was one of four siblings and shared a lifelong bond with her brother Jay Phillip Caron and sisters Vicki Ann Williams and Phyllis Arlene Stofa.
Toby is survived by her devoted husband, Jim Page; her beloved stepchildren and their spouses: Jason and Lisa Gearries, Josh and Allison Gearries, Jeremy and Sara Gearries, Rachel Owens Gearries, and Karla Joy; as well as numerous cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved her deeply. She was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Wayne Gearries; her stepson, Jeffrey Wayne Gearries; her sister, Phyllis Arlene Stofa; and her parents.
Toby was a rare and radiant soul—kind, selfless, vibrant, and full of heart. She lived a life full of purpose, rooted in deep devotion to her family and loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Her creativity, warmth, and generosity knew no bounds. Through her long-time cleaning business, where she formed many meaningful relationships, and her quiet acts of kindness—like faithfully donating to 18 charities every month—Toby made it her mission to uplift others.
She was a light in every room, known for her contagious laughter and a sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest day. Her wit, coupled with her nurturing spirit, made her unforgettable. She found joy in life’s simplest pleasures—especially gardening, where her green thumb transformed every yard into a haven of blooming beauty.
To know Toby was to know unconditional love. She was the kind of person whose presence reminded you of rainbows after rain, of blooming flowers in spring, and of sunshine that warms the soul. Her legacy is one of grace, joy, love, and boundless compassion—a true gift from heaven.
Toby's memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her. Her life was a testament to kindness, and her light will forever shine in the lives she touched.
