Obituary of Dawn Elaine Moore
Dawn Elaine Moore, 58, of Plainfield passed away on March 8, 2025. She was born in Wiesbaden, West Germany to Carl and Joyce Yorger on July 13, 1966. Dawn graduated from Ritter High School. She was an accountant and bookkeeper for R&R Plumbing for 23 years. She loved going to the beach, collecting seashells, gardening and spending time with her family. She loved riding motorcycles with her husband. Dawn loved being a mom, taking care of her kids and other people she loved. She loved coffee and drank it all day. She loved going to car shows and races with her husband. She could carry on a conversation with anyone, anywhere, at any time. She loved the character Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy. She loved spending time in the sun watching her birds and tending to her flowerbeds. As a cancer sign, she was very passionate about astrology and was fiercely protective of her loved ones. She was a problem solver and had no problem telling you where she stood with things. Dawn loved being a Gigi, she was very proud of her grandson. Dawn was preceded in death by her father, Carl D. Yorger; brother, Carl Yorger; father-in-law, Samuel Moore; her beloved pet, A Cut Above “Cutter Johnson” Moore. She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Samuel J. Moore; son, Evan J. Becker; daughter Sydney (Jared) Harrison; grandson, Kevin Darby III; mother, Joyce Yorger; sisters, Dana (Larry) Blakely and Laura Yorger; step-sons, Alan (Saisha) Moore and Charles (Kourtney) Becker Jr; step-daughter, Ashley (OA) Steele; nephews, Benjamin (Krissola, Oliver) Blakely, Samuel Blakely and Braden Polk; nieces, Ariel Blakely, Magdalene Blakely, Lydia Blakely, Isabel Blakely, Dove Blakely, Olive Blakely, Scarlet Blakely and Chloe Blakely; mother-in-law, Mary Moore, brother-in-law, Scott Moore; and sister-in-law, Lori(Teddy) Kidd.
