Our sincere sympathy and deep condolences for your loss. She was such a wonderful woman.
From,
Bill and Donna Stinnett and Family
Dawn was an amazing woman. I remember as a child coming to R&R and she was the first person I had to go see, she was my favorite! We always had great conversations with one another. I am so sorry for the families loss I know it’s a huge one because she touched so many people. I love you Dawn and I am thinking and praying for your family ❤️
First met Dawn in the 7th grade at All Saints and we have been friends ever since. Then we were in the same journalism at Cardinal Ritter she was always nice to me and everybody she met.
Her laugh was best ever! Her smile! Since we were such little kids staying up to watch Sammy Terry. Devastating loss.
I never actually met Dawn, but I "knew" her nonetheless through our working relationship. Dawn would call my office to pay for plumbing permits for her employer, R & R Plumbing. Over the years, I always looked forward to hearing from her and she usually made me laugh. We'd often discuss our children, their ups and downs as well as our own in the process of actually conducting business. When her employer called me today to take care of a permit and told me that Dawn had passed very unexpectedly, I was shocked. It seems silly to be so sad about someone I never met, but I'm going to miss her and I wish her family comfort and peace as they mourn the loss of such a vibrant woman.
Well hard to believe , but the memories you have left with me I will never forget . I remember when you came to Georgia to visit me and your brother .We took the kids to Savannah to the beach. What a day that was, little did we know there was a hurricane out at sea . It was more like a washing machine then a swim . I remember very well it wiped you and Sydney out that one big wave You kept telling Sydney I got you , the question was who had you . I remember going to the pool I insisted your brother buy us some floats that matched our bathing suits you just rolled your eyes then i flipped over in the tube , my hair came out looking like a wet rat Evan made sure he told me !.Then of course the 4th of July with all the family the big 25 people water fight !, I got you good never mind the warmed up bucket from the sun of water I went for the hose .BOY THAT WAS COLD .WE took that helicopter ride at the drag races our guys were to scared but they played that off. Of course who could forget the Christmas shopping we did . I stole your cart at Biglots and gave you some ladies . Then when we got to the register I said show me what your getting , you looked down and freaked out :" this is not my cart " you then looked at mine and said u have my cart whos is this and the lady was standing behind you waiting for you to explain . I said please forgive her she just got out of hospital shes got early stages of dementia . Then there's the cigerettes i would put them out she would light another this went on for awhile before you caught on . But the one thing that got me every time was the trash . I used to tremble opening up the Ricotta Cheese Container when I showed you how to make my moms Lasagna you knew not to throw anything away unless it was washed dryed and might as well be ironed . I mean scrubbed also it was the cleanest recycle ever seen . She would catch me all the time she had more grocery sacks hanging then anyone I knew . Each had a purpose clean for recycle, dirty waiting to be cleaned for recycle even cardboard , compost like old fruit peels etc .To this day I dont know if anything qualified as trash . She had more concoctions for her plants then the local farmer .But when I needed her most when her brother passed she came to me in VA I couldnt have done it without her and Sam. We kept secrets to ourselves to this day that I will never share and she kept it to herself also. But one thing she will always be to me is my SIS the one thing her brother left me that I will always be thankful for . Dawn please go see Carl , dad and Aunt Linda tell them I love you all and will see you one day . If god always me threw the pearly gates . Love me the "Stalker Lori"
