Obituary of Dennis Michael Brown

Dennis Michael Brown was born to Kenneth Brown and Patricia Riley Brown on August 31, 1962, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was commonly referred to as "Denny" by his family and friends for short. Dennis would graduate Ganesha High School in June of 1980. He would later choose to enlist and serve with the United States Marine Corps in August of 1980. Upon discharge in August of 1985, Dennis would work in various fields before finding employment as a truck driver, which he worked as until his passing.

Confident and charismatic in his approach toward life, Dennis was a true character in his own right. Toting an array of catch phrases, he delighted many with his boisterous personality and colorful sense of humor. A man for details, either intrinsically or learned by trade,  he was always capable of sharing his own brand of facts and knowledge about many topics. However, where Dennis thrived was his ability to connect to people - always the one to make a joke even at his own expense or caught in conversation with strangers, he loved people.

In his spare time he found solace through film, favoring the genres of military, action, and westerns. He would often add his own personalized commentary throughout the film about its actors and scenes. He loved music from all genres and artists - from the Temptations, to Judy Garland, Leon Bridges, and George Jones - if he could sing it he would. His sense of adventure allowed him to openly indulge in what life, the country, and people had to offer.

Dennis passed away in his home state of Indiana on February 23, 2025, at the age of 62. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Brown, and mother, Patricia Riley Brown.  He is survived by his siblings: Stacey, Christy, Eric, Terrell, and LaVone. In addition to his children: Katherine, Verannia, Sequoyah, and Reno, and granddaughters Eulanda and Ezra.
