Obituary of Randall W. Shamp
Randall “Randy” Shamp, 55, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on January 27, 2025. Randy was born in Urbana, NY in January of 1970.
Randy is a veteran in the US Army where he served proudly and bravely. He was stationed in Germany and was a stinger missile specialist.
Randy was a stay-at-home Dad devoted to caring for his Special needs sons, whom he showed great patience and love. He enjoyed sports, especially his Colts and Pacers, as well as several college teams.
He was an exceptionally good cook, often making his specialty steak and shrimp.
Randy enjoyed working in the yard and his proudest accomplishment was the landscape at home. He even taught his son Louis to drive the tractor and the two of them often worked together.
He also cared for the family dog, Archie and cat Eddie.
Randy is survived by his husband Michael Zingale; sons Michael Matthew, Robert William and Louis Alexander Zingale; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Judy Zingale and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
