Arnold Cline

Obituary

Arnold Dane Cline passed away peacefully on February 26, 2024, at home with his loving family by his side. Arnold was born in Elk Creek, Kentucky on September 17, 1933. He was 90 years of age.

Arnold was a veteran having served proudly and bravely in the United States Army from December 1953 until December of 1955. A member of the American Legion and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. He worked for and retired from BMW Constructors, Inc after 31 years of service. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Arnold was a great listener and friend. Arnold was a generous, charitable and humble man. He would help anyone at any time, no questions asked. Arnold didn't always ask for help as he was a prideful man, and he wasn't looking for someone to do anything for free. So, he just did it himself until he couldn't anymore. His hobbies included collecting all kinds of things different, listening to country music while tinkering and gardening. Arnold was considered a plantsman, a hobbyist gardener. He loved to work in his garden and shared his knowledge of horticulture with others. Toward the later days of Arnold's life, family and friends helped with the tasks of preparing and maintaining the garden for this upcoming spring. Everyone is looking forward to the first bloom, when Arnold will live on through his garden of plants, perennials, and trees. Arnold was loved by so many and will be missed by all.

Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, Herman D. Stella V. (Vaughn) Cline, siblings, wife Sandra Cline and daughter Michelle Cline.

Arnold is survived by children Arnold Dane Cline, Jr., Bill Cline, and Brenda Keeling, stepchildren Donald Steward and Debra Ramey.

Mr. Arnold was my friend. His health went down over the last year but he was still there mentally. I came over daily and just checked up on him. We talked about the garden and he showed me many many things that I will put to use for years to come. I will miss you my friend, but I will get the garden in this year and I know you will be watching over us. Love you sir, rest easy!

Arnold was a very good friend and a very good business associate. He was very instrumental in the success of all the concrete work and scaffold building for the carpenters and the laborers. He was always there to help me. Rest in Peace my good friend.

Mr. Arnold was such a sweet gentleman. He sure loved helping others. Often on his riding lawnmower, he would stop at the fence dividing our property, shut it off and sit back just to chat with me and have some laughs. Always a happy soul and never showed his age. If yard work needed done, Arnold was outside doing it until it was completed. So well loved and will be so missed. I was blessed to know you Arnold and so lucky to have had you as my neighbor and friend. Heaven has received another angel! Rest in Peace my dear friend. My deepest condolences to the family .
