Obituary
Tara Renee Smith, 33, of Plainfield, IN passed away on October 27, 2020. Tara was born in Indianapolis, IN on August 28, 1987 to Rick V. Smith and Tina M. (Stover) Morgan. Anyone who knew Tara, knows what a truly special person she was in so many ways. A devoted mother, loving daughter, loyal sister, caring aunt, and a great friend to so many. Although her death was tragic and far too soon, Tara will not be defined by it. Tara will forever be known for her loving heart, her soft beautiful smile, and that infectious laugh that no one will ever forget. Even though we are all saddened beyond words by her passing, we can take solace in knowing that her relationship with God was unwavering. Tara is without a doubt watching over us today, a guardian angel waiting until we are all reunited in the Kingdom of Heaven. Tara is survived by her daughters, Layla Henry and Ellie Smith; mother Tina M. (Keith) Morgan; father, Rick V. (Tammy) Smith; sisters, Amber (Tyler) Ingle, Megan Morgan, and Brooke Heckel; brothers, Keith Morgan; nieces, Haley, Hannah and Aubrey; nephew, Bentley; grandfather, Chester Stover; and aunt Donna Miller.

Rick, Tina and Amber, I am so so sorry for your loss. I can't fathom how any of you are feeling. I've known you all since the girls were very little. Tara was always so beautiful and kindhearted and her smile was contagious! I will be praying for you all. Rest in peace Tara.

Tara, I will never forget when I met you. You were about 19 years old, we were working together, you and Amber and I. You were like a daughter to me. I'll never forget you planning your 21st birthday, two years away... You were an angel on this earth and now you'll be watching your babies from heaven. Prayers go out to you and your family and your sweet sister Amber. I love you.
