Obituary

William B. Ensor, 89, of Brownsburg, IN passed away on November 10, 2019 at Northwest Healthcare. William was born in Clinton Falls, IN to Jesse B. and Eula C. (Burke) Ensor. William proudly and bravely served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1951 until 1955. He then went on to serve in the Air Force reserves until 1987. He was a Teacher with the Indianapolis Public Schools for over 25 years and retired from Northwest High School.  William enjoyed life, travel, camping, fishing, woodworking and dancing. William was also an agricultural hobbyist and enjoyed cultivating, growing and tending to his gardens. His family was very important to him and he enjoyed spending quality time and traveling to Wyoming often to visit his grandchildren.  William is preceded in death by his parents; his loving and devoted wife of 35 years, Reba Jean Spencer; his second wife of 2 years Martha Goode; sister Mary; and brother, Claude Owen. He is survived by his third wife of 24 years, Ruth Ann Pendleton; son, Mark Ensor; daughter, Christie Ensor; granddaughters, Carol and Rae. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly ask, memorial contributions honoring William may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America 801 Eighteenth Street NW Washington, DC 20006-3517 or at PVA.org.
