Obituary of Tiffney Renee Torres

Tiffney Renee Torres, 25 of Avon, IN passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019, in Indianapolis, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family. Tiffney was born April 6th, 1993, to Armando and Amy (Sidwell) Torres. As a child, she was a delight and a spitfire, who expressed her interests, thoughts, sass and humor with her extended family, including her God siblings for whom she served as a guiding light, on a daily basis. She attended pastry school. In 2016, she founded her own baking business, The Sugar Savage, a testament to her bold personality, depth of sweetness and bright talent. Her creative spirit led her to experiment with new flavors and designs. She dreamed of someday having her own food truck or bakery shop, and with her determined personality and culinary skill, no one who knew her doubts that if she’d been given time, her dreams would have been achieved. She leaves behind a warm and loving family, including; Father Armando Torres, mother Amy (Sidwell) Torres, God father, Ruben Saucedo of Houston TX, God parents Albert and Patty Coleman of Avon, IN, God siblings Christopher and Celina Coleman, maternal grandmother Vicki (Schacht) Sidwell,  Paternal grandparents, Francisca Perez and Jesus Torres, Aunts and Uncles, Sheri Fortner, Luis Torres, Leticia Torres, Juana Torres and Blanca Torres.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Donald Sidwell of Anderson IN

Tiffney’s life is an example for all those who loved her. Her heart was enormous, and helping others brought her joy. Even as she realized that her cancer was terminal, her primary concern was for others and she didn’t waste her energies on complaints, instead focusing herself on making those around her feel okay. From her first baby grins, Tiffney’s smile radiated light to all around her. Her wit (at times sarcastic) and love (always freely shared) could turn around anyone’s bad mood. She was a genuine soul, who chose to make the most of every day and to share her affections genuinely, and she was her parents’ beloved princess.
