Obituary

Kenneth Cly Young, 84, of Indianapolis passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He was born in Indianapolis, IN on April 18, 1934 to Christian and Anna (Inman) Young.

Kenny worked as a Sheet Metal Worker for a variety of companies and retired from Tarpenning & LaFollette. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 20. He served on the credit committee of the Sheet Metal Workers Federal Credit Union. He was an instructor in the sheet metal apprentice program.

He enjoyed building things out of sheet metal, carpentry, working on cars, swimming, water skiing, fishing, radio-controlled airplanes, reading war stories and westerns, as well as watching History Channel and other documentations and reality shows on TV.

Kenny is survived by his children; Chris Young, Carol (Joseph) Schuhler, Karen (Terry) Miller, brother; Keith (Barbara) Young, grandchildren; Brittany Brothers, Alaina Young, Heather Root and Cole Miller, great-grandchildren; Jordan Foutch, Lilana Brothers, Leighton Wolfe, and Keeleigh Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his parent and his wife; Frances (Osterman) Young.

Chris, Carol, Karen, I'm so sorry for the death of your father. You have my deepest sympathy. He was a great man. I know you will all miss him, but especially you, Chris.
