The memory that has always stood out to me of Aunt Cathy is her keeping a journal of all of their expenditures in life (She documented every reciept). It's funny how you watch a loved one and see little things that mean so much to them. Uncle Earl never had to wonder what was being spent, he just trusted in her to know. I love them both so very much and will be seeing Aunt Cathy again in heaven. My prayers to our family.

Aunt Cathie, on June 3, 1951 I, your Lollibaby, walked the aisle as your flower girl when you married Uncle Earl. I was 4 years old. Your entire life you always made me and everyone around you feel loved and appreciated. You were a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. Your presence will be missed. Go with God knowing that you fulfilled your purpose here. I love you, Cathy Hess

My aunt Cathy was married to my daddy‘s brother, Earl and close to my other uncles, Jim, and Dick Miller. Although I never got to see her as often as my sisters and brother in Illinois, as I spent much time in Florida with my biological mother, aunt Cathy treated me the same way she treated everyone in the family; with great love and affection and made you feel you were the same as everyone else : Very loved. She was so funny, so kind and always trying to make sure everyone was taken care of, whether at a holiday or just a visit she cared that everyone was noticed and included. I’m sure she treated all of her friends and their families just as lovingly. We were all very blessed to have her as our aunt and a part of our family, especially uncle Earl, for having such a beautiful, kind, loving wife and excellent mother, all these years, to Judy and Tammy. We know that she is with the Lord and happy and healthy; and with our other family members, watching over us and what a great angel she is. She will be missed, but her memories will last forever. I love you, aunt Cathy. Thank you for being you. And thank you for watching over us now with the Lord . Marilyn Lee Miller

Grandma, thank you for being such a kind and gentle soul. Thank you for watching all of the Cubs games with me all of those years. Thank you for allowing me to have one of every flavor of Popsicles when grandpa said I could only have one. Thank you for loving and supporting each one of your grandchildren unconditionally through the years. I love you and you will be greatly missed.

Love,

Adrian
