Gary Lee Williams, age 71, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on February 16, 2025.

Gary was a graduate of Northwest High School in Indianapolis. He spent his career working as a machinist at Link-Belt before retiring as a semi truck driver from Estes Trucking Company. Gary was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and his ability to connect with everyone he met.

Gary loved the outdoors, spending his time fishing, hunting, shooting or playing golf. His true passion was being with his family, sharing laughter, and creating lasting memories. He had an infectious sense of humor and was known for making people laugh.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Eldon Earnest; son, Brian Williams; granddaughters, Ashley Stockton and Breana Williams; grandsons, Tyler Earnest, Jordyn Meisberger, and Jalen Meisberger; great-grandchildren, Colten Stockton, McKinlee Stockton, Bentlee Earnest, Payton Meisberger, and Patrick Meisberger; his brother, Donnie Williams; and his ex-wife, Debra Williams.

Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Justine Williams; father, George Williams; and his sister, Barbara Lee.

A visitation will be held on February 20, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Steven’s Mortuary, 5520 W 10th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. A funeral service will follow on February 21, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Gary will be remembered for his loving nature, devotion to his family, and his remarkable ability to brighten any room. His legacy lives on in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
