John L. Lampert, 77, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on August 16, 2016. John was born on October 10, 1938 to Joseph and Mary (Krizman) Lampert. John served proudly in the US Army and retired from the US Postal Service where he was a carrier. He was a member of the Slovenian National Home, Yagger’s Conservation Club and the American Legion Post 497. Survivors include daughters, Mary (Chih) Chen and Kimberly (James) White and son, Johnathan Lampert; brother, Joseph “Smokey” Lampert; sister, Frances (Richard) Borders; four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
