Obituary of James Lewis Zore


James Lewis Zore, 80, of Indianapolis passed away on August 20, 2017. James was born in Indianapolis, IN on March 18, 1937 to John L. and Anna M. (Wiegand) Zore, both preceding him in death. James L. Zore was the President of Zore’s Towing, Recovery and Auto Recycling.  James was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Dee Zore; brother John O. Zore; and sister Anna Lou Zore. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Letha D. Zore; children Lisa A. Zore, Jamalyn “Jamie” (Heather Eaker) Zore, Jonalyn (Brian) Zore-Swinford, James John “Jimmy John” (Heather) Zore; four step-children; grandchildren, Nicole (Brianna), Lacy, James, Logan Eaker and Johnny; and one sister Jeane “Aunt Jeane” (Carter) Byfield.  Visitation will be held at Stevens Mortuary 5520 W. 10th Street Indianapolis, IN “Today” Wednesday, August 23, 2015 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be 11:30 AM Thursday, August 24, 2017 at St. Christopher 5301 W. 16th Street Indianapolis, IN with visitation from 10:30 AM until time of Mass.
