Obituary of Milan Stefanciosa

Milan Stefanciosa, 71, passed away suddenly on April 11, 2017. He was born May 22, 1945 in Jesenice, Yugoslavia (now Slovenia) to Feliks and Antonia Strbenc Stefanciosa. He started working at Link Belt in 1970 as a journeyman electrician and retired from Link Belt/Rexnord as a maintenance supervisor after 38 years. He then worked as a supervisor at Arcana Corporation retiring in May 2013. Milan is survived by his wife of 48 years, Norma; their two daughters, Martina Stefanciosa Bruce and Jana Stefanciosa; his son-in-law, who was like a son to him, Mark Bruce; his granddaughters, Mallory and Madison Bruce; his family in Slovenia, sister Anna Dolgan, her husband Milan, and their children, Milan, Jr., Toné, Rudi, Marija, and Janko; his brother’s daughters, Elizabeta Žnidarsic (Frenk) and Nataša Stefanciosa; and many cousins and great nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents and his brother, Srečo. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at St. Christopher Church, 5301 W. 16th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46224 from 11 am to 1 pm with a Mass of Christian burial at 1 pm, followed by a celebration of Milan’s life at the Slovenian National Home, 2717. W. 10th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46222. In lieu of flowers, please make any memorial donations in Milan’s memory to St. Christopher School or the Slovenian National Home.
