Obituary of Eric Craig Melton

Eric Craig Melton was first an amazing, adventurous brother and son. Then he became an uncle to 8 nieces and nephews and their childhoods are full of memories of him running around on all fours and throwing them all up in the air, being the great uncle he was. He loved them more than life itself. Next in his journey, he found the love of his life, Lucinda; who brought him “his princess.” Eric loved Maddie more than anyone ever loved their daughter and she knew it. They sang Frozen and SpongeBob Squarepants together constantly. When they went to Chuck E. Cheese they always came home with tons of toys. In addition to Eric being a family man he was an amazing painter and cook and all of his family had a deep appreciation for his cheesy potatoes and lasagna. He and his brother told the funniest and best stories of their childhood. He never failed to make his everybody laugh no matter how funny the joke wasn’t. He was always teasing his sisters. Eric could be found at the track, the golf course, or anywhere Maddie wanted to be. There aren’t enough words to describe how absolutely amazing Eric was. He was incredibly loved by his entire family and he will always be missed but we know he’s in God’s loving embrace. Rest peacefully Eric. Survived by Mother: Brenda Melton, Father: Craig Melton, Love of his Life: Lucinda Walker, Sisters: Heather Melton-Maestri, Aleah Stapish, Brothers: David Melton, Christopher Melton (deceased), Daughter: Madalyn Melton. Nieces and nephews: Makayla Melton, Javan Vaughn, Derek Melton, Haela Stapish, McKenzie Melton, Hannah Stapish, Carlina Mills, Leroy Mills.
