Rita Ann DeWeese, 66, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. She was born in Vincennes, IN to James and Anna “Frankie” (Wathen) Starrett. Rita was employed with Clark Products and retired after 30 years of service. Rita was also the Chairman and Founder of the Marcia R. Starrett Cancer Organization, something she was most passionate about. She was also a member of the women’s auxiliary for both, the American Legion and the VFW. Rita is preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband of 39 years who passed away in 2010, Edward Andrew DeWeese; brother, Ronnie Starrett and sister-in-law, Marcia R. Starrett. She is survived by daughters, Theresa (Jonathan) Duncan, Terry (Brian) Forsyth; grandson, Jordan Duncan; granddaughters, Bailey and Brooklyn Forsyth; brother, Richard (Lori) Starrett; sisters, Penny (Rodger) Watts, Mona (Myron) Von Dielingen; and sister-in-law, Geraldine Starrett.
